PharmaVent™ Spike Vent

PharmaVent™ Spike Vent is designed for needle-free withdrawal of chemicals and cytotoxic agents, providing excellent flow rates and suitability for multi-dosing applications.

PharmaVent™ Spike Vent uses an integrated 0.2µm PTFE hydrophobic filter allowing ingress of sterile air whilst protecting the drug from external contamination. It is advised that a sterile venting device be used during the preparation of cytotoxics and other hazardous chemicals to adequately protect the operator from harmful aerosols.

An anti-coring plastic spike provides safe, needle-free access in accordance with the European Sharps Directive. Each Spike Vent has a female luer lock connection with a polypropylene cap, reducing the risk of contact contamination.

Each device is supplied CE marked and individually blister packed.
